Cookies policy

This page explains what cookies this website uses, what they do and how you can control them. It was last reviewed in September 2026.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. It lets the site remember things between pages and between visits, such as whether you have already made a choice about cookies. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in much the same way and are covered by this policy.

What this site uses

We keep this deliberately short, because we use very little. There is no advertising on this site, we do not run remarketing pixels, and we do not use social network tracking.

Type Set by What it does Consent needed
Strictly necessary This website Keeps your session working, remembers form entries between steps and records your cookie choice so we do not ask again on every page No
Maps Google Maps Displays the maps of our offices on the contact and about pages. Google may set cookies and receive your IP address when a map loads Yes

We also use Google Search Console to see how this site appears in search results. It reports on the site as a whole rather than on individual visitors, and it does not place cookies on your device.

Your choice

Cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work are set automatically, as UK rules allow. Anything else, including the cookies set when a Google map loads, is only used if you agree.

If you decline, the rest of the site works exactly as before. The only difference you will notice is that maps are not displayed, and you can still find our offices from the addresses given on the contact page.

How to control cookies in your browser

Every major browser lets you see which cookies are stored, delete them, and block them in future. The controls sit under Settings, usually under Privacy, Security or Site Settings. Blocking all cookies will affect this and most other websites, so the more practical option is usually to clear cookies for a specific site.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. There is still no agreed industry standard for how sites should respond to it, so this website does not act on it. This makes little practical difference here, since we do not track visitors across other websites in any case.

If this changes

If we add analytics or any other technology that sets cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent before it runs. The review date at the top of the page tells you when this list was last checked.
