Empty leg flights in Europe

Europe is the densest business aviation market outside North America, and the distances are short enough for a light jet to cross most of it in two or three hours. Every summer the fleet flows south to the Riviera, the Balearics and the Greek islands, every winter it heads for the Alps, and all year it shuttles between London, Paris, Geneva, Milan and the other business capitals. Each of those journeys leaves an aircraft somewhere it does not want to be, and the flight that takes it home or to its next client is an empty leg.

About 1,400

European sectors available today

The first list below carries every sector we hold that touches an airport in the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or the western Balkans, whether it starts or ends in Britain or links two European cities. The second gives full charter prices between the UK and the main European destinations, so each empty leg can be measured against what the same trip costs on your own dates. Use the search box to narrow the first list to a country, a city or an airport.

Both columns assume an aircraft already at the departure airport, so no positioning flight is billed. Where an operator has to fly one in to collect you, a charter can run considerably higher than the figure shown. Prices also run in both directions: an empty leg exists only when an operator is moving that aircraft anyway, so the sector you want may run the other way this month. Tell us the route and we will watch both directions for you.

Set up an alert for Europe

Most empty legs are gone within hours of being released, and a good number are never published at all. Tell us the route and the window you can travel in, and we will message you the moment a matching sector comes up between the UK and Europe.

Please fill in both the departure and the arrival city.

Nothing is stored on this site. The button opens a chat with the message already written, and you send it yourself. We reply during office hours, 07:00 to 23:00, and check messages outside them too.

Why Europe produces so many empty legs

Positioning is the root of every empty leg: a jet finishes one job in the wrong city for the next. Europe creates that situation more often than almost anywhere else, for five reasons.

One way trips are the norm
Most European charters are one way: a family flies to Nice for a fortnight, a board flies to Geneva for a day and a half. The aircraft rarely waits, so every drop creates a flight home and every collection a flight out, both of them without passengers unless someone buys the flight.
Seasons that move the fleet
In July and August hundreds of jets work the Mediterranean, from Ibiza and Palma to Olbia and Mykonos, and in January and February they serve Geneva, Chambéry, Sion, Samedan and Innsbruck. The weeks when the fleet changes over, in spring and in September, are the richest for repositioning sectors.
Operators spread across the continent
The fleet is not based in one place. A large fractional ownership programme is run from Lisbon, aircraft management groups work from Luxembourg, a fleet of very light jets flies from Linz and several charter operators are based in Vienna, while many business jets carry Maltese registrations. Each of these fleets sends aircraft home across Europe every day.
Events that fill a city for a week
The Cannes Film Festival, the Monaco Grand Prix, the World Economic Forum in Davos, the fashion weeks in Paris and Milan, the Salzburg Festival and the big trade fairs bring aircraft in together and send them away together, which puts a burst of sectors on the market the day after.
Airports that will not keep the aircraft
In peak weeks Ibiza, Palma, Mykonos, Olbia and Saint-Tropez often cannot park a jet for days, and some airports refuse overnight stays altogether. The aircraft drops its passengers, flies to a quieter field or home, and comes back empty to collect them.

A large share of business jet flights in Europe, perhaps as many as four in ten, carry no passengers at all. Only some of them are ever offered for sale, because a sector may be too short, too uncertain or too close to the next job, but on the busiest routes there is a steady supply.

Business aviation in Europe: airports, operators and traffic

Business aviation in Europe links some 1,400 airports, about 900 of them reached only by business aircraft, but the traffic is concentrated on a small group of hubs. These were the ten busiest in 2023, counted by business aviation flights.

Airport Country Business aviation flights in 2023 What it serves
Paris Le Bourget France 55,751 Paris and northern France
Nice Côte d'Azur France 37,425 Monaco, Cannes and the Riviera
Geneva Switzerland 34,273 Banking, diplomacy and the French and Swiss Alps
Farnborough United Kingdom 29,966 London, with no airline traffic at all
London Luton United Kingdom 26,661 North London and the Home Counties
Zurich Switzerland 25,866 Finance, Davos and St Moritz
Milan Linate Italy 25,757 Milan, the lakes and the fashion and design weeks
London Biggin Hill United Kingdom 21,685 The City and south London
Palma de Mallorca Spain 17,504 Mallorca and the western Mediterranean
Rome Ciampino Italy 17,129 Rome and southern Italy

After Istanbul in eleventh place, Madrid, Amsterdam, Ibiza, Athens, Malaga, Berlin, Vienna, Prague and Munich follow close behind. Paris Le Bourget, Nice, Geneva, Farnborough and Luton alone handle a large share of all European business aviation, which is why so many empty legs start or end at one of them.

Busiest markets France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany and Spain record the most business jet departures
Traffic in 2025 Stable overall, with June 2025 up 6 per cent on a year earlier and busy events such as the Champions League final in Munich lifting individual weeks
Most flown jets In June 2025 the Citation XLS family, the Phenom 300, the Challenger 300 and 350, the Pilatus PC-24, the Citation Latitude and the Citation CJ2 made up almost 40 per cent of European jet departures
Most flown aircraft overall Counting turboprops, the Pilatus PC-12 was the single most flown business aircraft in Europe between February 2023 and February 2024, ahead of the Citation XLS and the King Air 200
Private terminals Most large airports have a separate business aviation terminal, run either by the airport, as at Vienna, Salzburg and Innsbruck, or by handlers and international chains such as Jet Aviation and Signature
Regulation Commercial flights by EU operators follow the rules of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency, while British operators have been regulated by the UK Civil Aviation Authority alone since 2021
Fuel Since 2025 fuel supplied at EU airports has to contain at least 2 per cent sustainable aviation fuel, rising to 6 per cent in 2030 under the ReFuelEU rules

The airport rules that shape a European empty leg

Each European airport sets its own hours, slots and parking limits, and they often decide whether a sector exists and whether you can use it. These are the rules we meet most often.

Airport Slots or permission Night and hours What it means for an empty leg
Nice A slot for every private movement, with about ten minutes of tolerance Only the noisiest aircraft are barred late at night Timing is tight, so a sector into Nice rarely moves
Geneva A coordinated airport, with times booked through the handler No departures from midnight to 06:00 and no arrivals from midnight to 05:00, with noise conditions from 22:00 An evening sector from London that lands after 22:00 has to meet the noise conditions
Zurich A slot for every instrument flight, positioning flights included The airport closes at 23:30, and private flights plan to leave by 22:00 An evening sector home has to be airborne by about 22:00
Hamburg A slot from the German coordinator for every private flight Closed to normal traffic from 23:00 to 06:00 The last sensible departure from London is about 20:00
Vienna A slot for every flight, all year round No curfew, but a yearly cap on movements between 23:30 and 05:30 One of the few big airports where a late arrival is possible
Salzburg Prior permission in the winter season Landings 06:00 to 22:00; take offs 06:00 to 22:00 on charters, from 07:00 on privately flown aircraft Ski Saturdays fill the apron, so jets drop and leave the same day
Courchevel Prior permission and trained crews only Daylight only, from 09:00 to 19:00 Most empty legs use Chambéry or Geneva instead
Ibiza and Palma Summer slots, with parking coordinated only a fortnight ahead Busy days start early and end late Jets often cannot stay, so they fly out empty and come back empty
Mykonos and Olbia Prior permission for parking and summer slots Long days in July and August, with tight stands Drops and collections nearly always create two sectors

Europe's private terminals from the passenger's side

Nearly every busy European airport has a terminal of its own for private flights, and most of them are run by handlers known as FBOs. The operator of the aircraft chooses the handler, so on an empty leg the terminal comes with the sector, but the differences between them are worth knowing.

Paris Le Bourget
No main terminal at all: seven handlers each run a building of their own along the apron. Jet Aviation took over the former Astonsky terminal of almost 7,000 square metres in 2025, with a full service bar and sleeping rooms; Jetex has three lounges, a nap room and showers and is open around the clock; and at Universal, customs can clear passengers at the aircraft. For a meal, the rooftop restaurant of the AC Hotel beside the airfield looks over the runways.
Farnborough
The only British airport given over entirely to business aviation, with the runway, the handling and the terminal run by one company. The terminal works like a private members' club, with lounges over the runway and meeting rooms; readers of Aviation International News have voted it the leading FBO in its region year after year, and many arrivals never go inside, because the car meets the aircraft at the steps. The Aviator hotel stands beside it.
London Luton
A choice of two handlers with different characters. Signature works from more than one terminal and suits a quick turnaround, while Harrods Aviation runs The Omnia around the clock, with a quieter arrival suited to sports teams and anyone who would rather not share a lounge.
Geneva Terminal 3
Private flights use Terminal 3 on Chemin des Papillons, about two kilometres from the main terminal, so give the driver that address. Signature and Jet Aviation both work there; Jet Aviation has three executive lounges and showers, and some handlers can call on French customs, which helps when the chalet is in France.
Nice Terminal Aviation d'Affaires
A building of about 1,500 square metres opened in 2010, with its own gated entrance, two security posts, customs and a few boutiques. Signature, AviaVIP and DC Aviation G-OPS all work from it; AviaVIP even has a play area for children, but there is no restaurant, and cars do not normally drive onto the apron.
Milan Linate Prime
SEA Prime's building stands apart from the passenger terminals, with a separate road in, its own customs post and parking for the aircraft beside it. A new wing of about 2,000 square metres opened in March 2026 with nine glazed lounges and a concierge desk, and SEA Prime aims to get an international arrival from the aircraft to the car in ten to fifteen minutes.
Zurich General Aviation Center
A separate building on the eastern side of the airport, in use since 1974, with its own border and customs checks and a bistro. Jet Aviation has worked at Zurich since 1969, and several handlers offer valet parking. A new terminal on the western side is due in 2028.
Munich GAT
Five handlers share the General Aviation Terminal on the eastern edge of the airport. ExecuJet has a VIP lounge with a bar and a conference room, Signature has meeting rooms for passengers and a quiet snooze room, and a heated hangar can be booked for an aircraft staying overnight in winter.
Vienna VIP and General Aviation Terminal
A terminal of about 3,000 square metres run by the airport itself, where business jet passengers share the building with airline guests on the VIP Service. It has six private salons, lounges enlarged in 2024, conference rooms, showers and valet parking, and flights can land at any hour if the handling is agreed.
Palma and Ibiza
Both islands have general aviation terminals with their own entrances and customs, and their lounges fill fast on summer Saturdays. At Palma one terminal operator adds a small delicatessen and an art gallery, and a specialist can deliver luggage straight to a villa or a yacht; at Ibiza several FBOs keep passengers moving in minutes.

What happens at any European private terminal

The details vary, but the routine at a European private terminal follows the same pattern, and it is very different from an airline departure.

Arrive 20 to 30 minutes before
There is no check in desk. Twenty minutes is usually enough, thirty for an international departure or a busy summer or ski Saturday, and the aircraft waits for its passengers rather than the other way round.
Bags from car to hold
An agent meets the car, takes the luggage and passes it through the terminal's own screening, and the bags go straight into the hold. On arrival they follow you through customs to the car, with no belt to wait at.
Security and liquids
Passengers and hand luggage are screened inside the terminal, usually in a few minutes. The airline rule on liquids does not apply in the same way, but each operator sets its own limits for items in the cabin.
Passports and customs inside
Border police and customs work inside the private terminal, and at some, such as Universal at Le Bourget, customs can clear passengers at the aircraft. Since April 2026 a British passenger's first entry to Schengen adds a few minutes for the EES registration.
Where the car can wait
At Farnborough and some other airports a car can meet the aircraft on the apron; elsewhere the handler usually drives you across. If it matters, tell us at booking.
Lounges, showers and meals
Most private terminals have lounges with drinks and light refreshments, and many have showers and meeting rooms, but few have a restaurant. A proper meal is usually ordered as catering for the flight.

Tax refunds need planning: at Nice and Geneva the VAT refund desks are in the main terminals, so tell the handler about the forms before the day. Passengers with reduced mobility should mention it at booking, because a business jet is boarded by a short, steep airstair and the operator plans the assistance around it.

Empty legs inside Europe

Many of the best value sectors never touch Britain. Aircraft reposition between European cities all day long, and a party already on the continent can hop between them for far less than a full charter. The table shows typical sectors with the aircraft we usually see, the flying time, a guide empty leg price for the whole aircraft and the full charter price for comparison.

Prices move with the aircraft and the date, and a sector released a day or two before departure is often cheaper still. Within Europe the operators are nearly always licensed in the EU, because the rules on cabotage keep British operators out of flights between two EU airports.

Popular European routes and when to catch them

Every busy route has a rhythm: some months produce far more empty legs than others, and on most routes the aircraft fly without passengers mainly in one direction.

Route Best months Which way runs empty Why
London and Nice May to September North at the start of a stay, south at the end Riviera villas, yachts, Cannes and the Monaco Grand Prix
London and Geneva December to April Out on Fridays, home on Saturdays and Sundays Ski chalets in Verbier, Megève, Courchevel and Chamonix
Paris and Geneva All year Both ways, most days Banking, family offices and the Alps
Milan and Rome All year Both ways, weekday mornings and evenings The busiest domestic business route in Italy
Paris and Nice April to October North as a weekend starts, south as it ends Second homes and the Riviera season
Nice and Geneva All year Both ways Two hubs 55 minutes apart, with owners based in each
London and Ibiza June to September Home to London after Saturday drops Villa weeks and the club season
Geneva and Palma or Ibiza July and August North on Fridays, south on Sundays Swiss and French families on the Balearics
Munich and Olbia July and August Both ways at weekends Bavarian families on the Costa Smeralda
London and Mykonos June to September Out on Fridays before the Saturday changeover Greek island villas and yachts
Zurich and Samedan December to March Both ways around weekends St Moritz, the Engadin and the WEF week in Davos
London and Salzburg or Innsbruck December to April, July and August Home after Saturday drops, out on Fridays before Saturday collections Austrian ski resorts and the Salzburg Festival
Vienna and Nice June to September North at the start of the season, south at the end Central European owners on the Riviera
Madrid and Paris All year Both ways on weekdays Business and fashion travel

The clearest pattern of all is the Saturday changeover. From Christmas to Easter it runs through the Alps, from June to September through the islands, and in both seasons it sends jets home empty on Saturday afternoon and out again empty on Friday evening.

Which aircraft fly the European routes

Almost any business aircraft can fly within Europe, but a handful of categories carry most of the traffic. The hourly rates below are the figures operators start from; short sectors cost more per hour once minimum charges, positioning and fees are added, and an empty leg on the same aircraft typically costs less than half the full charter.

Category Typical types Seats Range in practice Where it fits in Europe Full charter per hour
Turboprop Pilatus PC-12, King Air 200 6 to 8 About 2h 30m Short hops, mountain strips and island runways About 2,200 GBP
Very light jet Citation M2, Citation Mustang, Phenom 100 4 to 6 About 2h 30m London to Paris, Geneva or Amsterdam About 2,800 GBP
Light jet Citation CJ3, CJ4, Phenom 300, Pilatus PC-24 6 to 8 3h to 3h 30m Most of Europe from London without a stop About 3,600 to 3,900 GBP
Midsize jet Citation XLS+, Latitude, Learjet 75, Hawker 900XP 8 to 9 About 4h The Riviera, the Balearics and southern Italy with bags to spare About 5,200 to 5,500 GBP
Super midsize jet Challenger 350, Praetor 600, Legacy 500 8 to 10 5h to 6h Greece, Cyprus and larger groups About 5,900 to 6,800 GBP
Large and long range Challenger 604, Falcon 7X, Gulfstream G450, Global 6000 10 to 14 7h to 12h Big parties, long sectors and flights to the Middle East About 8,500 to 12,000 GBP

For a European empty leg, the aircraft usually decides the price more than the distance. A Citation M2 sector across the Alps can cost less than a Challenger 350 hop along the Riviera, so it is worth comparing a smaller aircraft on a longer route with a larger one on a shorter route.

Rules for private flights inside Europe and beyond

Europe is one market for business aviation but not one set of rules. Passports, customs, operators and taxes all depend on which countries a flight connects.

SCHENGEN
Where passports are checked
The Schengen area covers 25 EU countries plus Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. A flight between two Schengen airports, such as Geneva to Nice, has no routine passport check, although every passenger still needs a passport or national identity card. Flights to or from Britain, Ireland and Cyprus, which are outside Schengen, are checked at both ends.
EES AND ETIAS
The new border systems
Since 10 April 2026 the Entry/Exit System has recorded every British visitor at the external Schengen border with fingerprints and a facial image on the first crossing. Its companion scheme, ETIAS, is not running yet, and in July 2026 its start slipped once more, into 2027.
90 IN 180
Time allowed in Schengen
British visitors may spend 90 days in any 180 across the whole Schengen area, so a week on the Riviera, a fortnight in Sardinia and a ski week in Switzerland all count towards the same total.
CUSTOMS
Not the same map as Schengen
The EU customs union does not match the Schengen area. Switzerland and Norway are in Schengen but outside the customs union, so a flight from Geneva to Nice has no passport check but can have a customs one, while Britain is outside both.
CABOTAGE
Who may fly you between two EU airports
Since Brexit, operators licensed in Britain may fly between the UK and the EU, with permits from each country, but may not sell a flight between two EU airports. An empty leg between two EU airports is therefore flown by an operator licensed in the EU, and positioning flights with no passengers usually need no commercial traffic permit.
SAFETY
The same standard on an empty leg
An empty leg is a normal commercial flight, flown by the same crew, on the same aircraft and under the same air operator certificate as a full charter. Only the price and the timing differ.

Passenger taxes on private flights across Europe

The taxes on a private flight in Europe vary more than anything else in the price. Most are charged per passenger on departure, Italy's on arrival as well, and a positioning flight with no passengers pays none of them, while an empty leg you book pays them like any charter.

Country Tax on a private charter Rate for a flight within Europe Notes
United Kingdom Air Passenger Duty 32 GBP on jets of 5.7 to 20 tonnes, 142 GBP above that From 1 April 2027 all private jets of 5.7 tonnes or more pay 146.63 GBP, and Scottish airports move to their own tax with a private jet supplement
France Solidarity tax on air tickets 420 euros in a jet, 210 euros in a turboprop Up to 2,100 euros on long haul jets; applies to charters of up to 19 seats
Italy Tax on air taxi passengers 100 euros up to 1,500 kilometres, 200 euros above Charged on arrival as well as departure; only 10 euros under 100 kilometres, and Italy adds 95 kilometres to the great circle distance
Germany Luftverkehrsteuer 13.03 euros The shortest distance band, cut on 1 July 2026
Austria Flugabgabe 12 euros from 350 kilometres, 30 euros below Aircraft over 2 tonnes only
Netherlands Vliegbelasting 30.25 euros in 2026 Private aircraft over 4,000 kilograms leaving the main Dutch airports; parliament has approved much higher private jet rates from 2030
Denmark Passenger tax 30 kroner within Europe, rising to 50 kroner by 2030 Charters in aircraft over 5.7 tonnes or with more than 10 seats
Spain and Switzerland None on departure Nothing Only airport and handling charges apply

A party of four flying from Nice to London in a Citation XLS+ therefore pays 1,680 euros of French tax, the same four flying from Geneva pay nothing, and from Milan they pay 400 euros, because London is inside the Italian 1,500 kilometre band. For a group based on the Riviera, that difference alone can justify driving to a Swiss or Italian airport or choosing a turboprop.

Leaving Europe and flying further

  • The exit check. A British passenger leaving the Schengen area has the exit recorded by the EES at the last Schengen airport, even on a private jet, so allow time for passport control before a flight to the Middle East, Africa or North America.
  • Long haul taxes. France charges up to 2,100 euros per passenger on a long haul jet, Italy 200 euros and Britain up to 1,097 GBP, rising in April 2027, while Switzerland charges no passenger tax, so a party staying near the Alps can save a large sum by starting a flight to Dubai or New York in Geneva or Zurich.
  • Goods and cash. Goods bought in the EU can have their VAT refunded on the way out if customs stamp the forms, and cash of 10,000 euros or more must be declared on leaving or entering the EU.
  • Coming back to Britain. Each adult arriving on a private flight has a goods allowance of 270 GBP, plus 200 cigarettes, four litres of spirits, 18 of still wine and 42 of beer; from 1 October 2026 sparkling wine joins the wine allowance and cider the beer one.

How to book a European empty leg well

An empty leg is cheaper because the operator sets the time and the route. A little preparation turns that constraint into an advantage.

Be flexible by a few hours
An empty leg departs when the aircraft has to move. Parties that can shift by half a day, or travel on the evening before, see far more sectors than those tied to one departure time.
Look at the neighbouring airports
Cannes and Nice, Farnborough and Biggin Hill, Geneva and Chambéry, Zurich and Basel, Milan Linate and Bergamo are often interchangeable, and operators will sometimes change the destination to a nearby airport for a small supplement.
Combine it with a charter
Few trips find empty legs in both directions. Taking one sector as an empty leg and the other as a normal charter still saves a large part of the cost, and we price both together.
Know what can change
If the original client moves or cancels the paying flight, the empty leg moves or disappears with it. Terms differ by operator, so we always tell you what happens in that case before you confirm.
Count the bags and the skis
The seats on an empty leg are the aircraft's seats, but the hold is often the real limit. Ski bags, golf clubs and pushchairs need to be declared, and a larger aircraft can be cheaper than two small ones.
Ask for alerts
The best sectors are often sold within hours. Tell us your route and the window you can travel in, and we will send the matching sectors as soon as operators release them.

Three situations, three answers

A long weekend on the Riviera
Fly out on an empty leg towards Nice or Cannes when an aircraft heads south to collect a party at the end of its stay, and come home on Sunday on a normal charter or on a jet returning to London after a drop. France taxes only the departure from Nice or Cannes.
A ski week in the Alps
Watch for Friday sectors from London to Geneva, Chambéry or Salzburg and Saturday sectors back, which follow the chalet changeovers. If the dates are fixed, book the outbound as a charter and wait for an empty leg for the return.
A European business tour
For a week of meetings in Paris, Munich and Milan, book the main legs as a charter and fill the gaps with empty legs between the cities, which for a group of four can cost little more than business class tickets. Remember that Italy taxes arrivals as well as departures.

Travelling with a dog or cat around Europe

Pets flying from Britain into the EU need a microchip, a rabies vaccination at least 21 days old and an animal health certificate signed by an official vet within ten days of travel. The certificate then covers onward travel between EU countries for four months, so a Riviera summer with a hop to Italy needs no new papers. Since 22 April 2026 EU pet passports no longer cover these trips for people living in Britain.

Dog in the cabin of a private jet in Europe

Returning to Britain is stricter than leaving it. The pet must travel with an operator the UK has approved, and dogs need a worming treatment for tapeworm, given by a vet between 24 hours and five days before arrival. Switzerland and Norway follow similar rules to the EU. Raise the animal at the first enquiry, as several operators decline pets and a few countries set extra conditions.

Empty legs in Europe: common questions

What is an empty leg flight in Europe?
A flight that a private jet has to make without passengers, usually to return to base or to reach its next client. Operators sell the flight, for the whole aircraft, at a fraction of the normal charter price.
How much does a European empty leg cost?
Our tables start at about 1,800 GBP for a Pilatus PC-12 from Athens to Mykonos and about 2,200 GBP for a Citation M2 from Hamburg to Munich, for the whole aircraft. Longer sectors in larger jets run to 10,000 GBP or more.
How much cheaper is it than a charter?
Usually between 50 and 75 per cent below the full charter price for the same aircraft, with the deepest discounts on sectors released at the last minute.
Which European routes have the most empty legs?
London to Paris, Zurich and Milan, Paris to Geneva and Milan to Rome all year, Paris to Nice from spring to autumn, and in season London to Geneva and the French Alps in winter and to Nice, the Balearics, Sardinia and the Greek islands in summer.
Can a British operator fly me between two EU cities?
No. Cabotage rules reserve flights between two EU airports for operators licensed in the EU, so empty legs between EU cities are flown by EU operators. British operators can still fly you between Britain and the continent, with the permits each country requires.
Do I need a passport on a flight inside Europe?
Yes, or a national identity card where it is accepted. Flights within the Schengen area have no routine passport check, but operators still check identity documents, and flights to or from Britain are checked at both ends.
Which taxes apply to a private flight in Europe?
It depends mainly on the country of departure: 420 euros per passenger in a jet from France, 100 or 200 euros to or from Italy, 13.03 euros from Germany, 12 or 30 euros from Austria, nothing from Spain or Switzerland, and Air Passenger Duty from Britain.
What happens if the paying flight changes?
The empty leg changes with it. It may move by a few hours, go to a nearby airport or be cancelled, and we explain the operator's terms before you book.
Can I book an empty leg for a round trip?
An empty leg is always one way. For the return we look for another empty leg or price a normal charter, and many clients combine the two.
How far ahead are European empty legs released?
Most appear between a few days and two weeks before departure, although seasonal repositioning flights in April and September are sometimes known a month ahead.
Can we bring skis, golf clubs or a dog?
Usually yes, within the hold and the operator's rules. Tell us when you enquire, because the aircraft type and the airports decide what fits.
And if nothing is released for my dates?
Give us the cities, the travel window and the size of the party. We will watch the market, price a charter as a fallback and send any sector that fits as soon as it appears.

Call +44 7857 574938 , message the same number on WhatsApp , or write to flight@empty-leg.co.uk . Name the cities or airports, the dates and how flexible they are, the number of passengers and the luggage, and any pet. We will reply with the European sectors that fit, their full charter prices for comparison and the taxes and permits that apply to your route.
