Empty leg flights to and from Istanbul

Few great cities in Europe have a whole airport given over to private jets, and Istanbul is one of them. Since the airlines left for the new Istanbul Airport in April 2019, Atatürk Airport, code ISL, has served business aviation, state flights and the Turkish Air Force, about half an hour from Taksim. Istanbul Airport, code IST, opened a private terminal with Jetex in May 2026, and Sabiha Gökçen, code SAW, handles private flights on the Asian shore. A jet from London takes a little under four hours.

Choosing the right one of those three airports matters more in Istanbul than almost anywhere else, because slots, parking and the drive across the city differ so much between them.

Istanbul sectors available today

The first list collects every sector we hold into or out of any of Istanbul's airports, whether Atatürk, Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gökçen, and adds flights at Çorlu when there are any. The second list shows the full charter fare for the same aircraft on your own dates, so each empty leg can be set against a flight that runs to your timetable.

Ask us what is available at Istanbul right now.

This board refreshes through the day as operators release sectors, and it shows only part of the market: a large share of repositioning flights never reach a public list at all. Check back shortly, or tell us your route and dates and we will look at what operators are holding at this moment.

Both columns assume an aircraft already at the departure airport, so no positioning flight is billed. Where an operator has to fly one in to collect you, a charter can run considerably higher than the figure shown. Prices also run in both directions: an empty leg exists only when an operator is moving that aircraft anyway, so the sector you want may run the other way this month. Tell us the route and we will watch both directions for you.

Set up an alert for Istanbul

Most empty legs are gone within hours of being released, and a good number are never published at all. Tell us the route and the window you can travel in, and we will message you the moment a matching sector comes up between the UK and Istanbul.

Please fill in both the departure and the arrival city.

Nothing is stored on this site. The button opens a chat with the message already written, and you send it yourself. We reply during office hours, 07:00 to 23:00, and check messages outside them too.

Why Istanbul produces so many empty legs

Istanbul sits between Europe, the Gulf, the Caucasus and Central Asia, and more private aircraft pass through it than through any other Turkish city. A handful of local conditions explain why so many of them end up flying with nobody on board.

A crossroads of four regions
Guests fly in from London and Geneva, from Dubai and Riyadh, from Baku, Almaty and Tashkent. Most of those jets belong to operators based elsewhere, so after the drop they head home or on to their next job without passengers.
An airport for private jets alone
Atatürk no longer takes airline flights, and its general aviation terminal clears passengers in minutes. That makes Istanbul an easy place to drop a party and leave, and far fewer aircraft wait on the ground than at a busy mixed airport.
Parking that runs out
Sabiha Gökçen limits business jets to 24 hours, and in spring 2026 Atatürk refused long stays without a hangar. Operators who cannot park for a week fly the aircraft away empty and send it back empty for the return.
Business, health and weddings
Istanbul is Türkiye's commercial capital and a centre for medical treatment, and its palaces and waterfront hotels host lavish weddings and conferences. Short stays of one to three days are common, and each creates a repositioning flight.
The gateway to the Turkish coast
In summer many guests spend a night in Istanbul before flying on to Bodrum, Dalaman or Antalya. Domestic legs inside Türkiye must be flown by Turkish operators, so the foreign jet that brought them often leaves Istanbul empty.

Supply is strongest from mid May to the end of September, around the religious holidays and in the autumn conference season, and it peaks on Friday and Sunday evenings. January is the quietest month, followed by February and December.

Istanbul's airports for private jets in detail

Each of the three airports suits a different trip.

Atatürk, ISL Istanbul Airport, IST Sabiha Gökçen, SAW
Side of the city European, on the Sea of Marmara European, near the Black Sea coast Asian, in Pendik
To Taksim by car About 30 to 40 minutes About 45 to 60 minutes About 60 to 75 minutes
Airline traffic None since April 2019 84.5 million passengers in 2025 48.4 million passengers in 2025
Private terminal General aviation terminal and FBO hangars Jetex iGA terminal, opened May 2026 General aviation terminal
Slots Required, at least 48 hours ahead Required Required, at least 48 hours ahead
Parking Usually flexible, with hangars Possible, subject to approval Limited to 24 hours
Border checks In the terminal, about 5 to 10 minutes In the Jetex terminal, after a long taxi In the terminal
Best for Most trips to the city Connections with airline flights The Asian shore and Istanbul Park

Atatürk Airport, the business aviation airport

For decades Atatürk was Istanbul's main airport. Scheduled flights moved to Istanbul Airport on 6 April 2019 and cargo followed on 5 February 2022, leaving Atatürk to private jets, government aircraft and the air force. The land around it is being turned into a national garden.

Codes ISL (IATA) and LTBA (ICAO)
Location Yeşilköy, on the European shore of the Sea of Marmara, about 16 kilometres west of Taksim in a straight line
Runway One asphalt runway, 05/23, of about 2,600 metres; the two long concrete runways are closed
Terminal A general aviation terminal north west of the old passenger terminals, run by the state airports authority DHMİ since the end of 2021
Hangars 26 hangars in the general aviation area, shared by handlers, operators and maintenance companies
Handlers and FBOs Among them Universal Aviation, MC Aviation, Bilen Air Services with ExecuJet, Sancak Air, Çelebi, Gözen Air and Fly Service
Traffic 19,486 business aviation movements in 2025
Slots Required for every flight and requested at least 48 hours ahead, with a tolerance of about 20 minutes either way
Border and customs Passport, customs and security checks inside the general aviation terminal, usually in 5 to 10 minutes
Parking Normally flexible, with ramp and hangar space; from April to 30 May 2026 long stays were refused unless a hangar was booked
Charges An international passenger charge of 8.50 euros and a security charge of 2.02 euros per departing passenger under the DHMİ tariff in force from 15 July 2026

Atatürk is the default choice for the city. It is the closest airport to Taksim, Nişantaşı and the old city, taxiing from the runway is quick, and the handlers are used to arrivals at any hour. Its limits are the slot, which has to be flown within its tolerance, and parking in the busiest spring weeks.

Istanbul Airport and the Jetex iGA terminal

Istanbul Airport, in Arnavutköy near the Black Sea coast, is one of the busiest airports in the world, with 84,513,937 passengers in 2025 and runways of up to 4,100 metres. On 5 May 2026 its operator iGA and the Dubai based Jetex opened a private terminal completely separate from the main building.

Codes IST (IATA) and LTFM (ICAO)
Location Arnavutköy, about 32 kilometres north of Atatürk in a straight line and roughly an hour from the city centre by taxi
Private terminal The Jetex iGA terminal, 5,000 square metres on three floors, with about 40,000 square metres of apron and hangar space and room for 350 to 400 people at once
Inside Reception and a patisserie on the ground floor, an à la carte restaurant and eight private suites with butlers on the mezzanine, three of the suites with bedrooms, plus a boardroom for ten, a spa room, a wine and cigar lounge, shops and a children's play area
Formalities Its own passport control, customs and security, a dedicated baggage team and chauffeured Maybach cars between the terminal and the aircraft
Staff About 130 people, working around the clock
Airline passengers Travellers on scheduled flights can book the terminal in advance. Rates quoted in May 2026 were 1,320 euros for an arrival, 1,560 euros for a departure and 1,860 euros for a connection, and simpler packages start at about 750 euros
Limits Taxiing can take 15 to 20 minutes on this large airfield, and costs are usually higher than at the other two airports

Istanbul Airport makes sense when part of the party connects with an airline flight, or for a trip to the north or west of the city. For a trip to the Bosphorus alone, Atatürk is usually quicker.

Sabiha Gökçen on the Asian shore

Sabiha Gökçen lies in Pendik on the Asian side, about 32 kilometres south east of the centre. It handled 48,407,318 passengers in 2025, and a second runway opened on 25 December 2023.

Codes SAW (IATA) and LTFJ (ICAO)
Runways Two concrete runways of 3,000 and 3,500 metres
Operator Malaysia Airports, under a concession from the Turkish state
Private terminal A general aviation terminal in its own building, with a lounge, snacks, internet and its own security, passport and customs checks
FBO Bilen Air Services with ExecuJet, open around the clock, with a VIP lounge and hangar space
Slots Required and requested at least 48 hours ahead
Parking Limited to 24 hours; a hangar costs from about 1,500 euros a day depending on the aircraft
Hours In summer 2026 the airport closed from 02:00 to 05:00 local time for night work on the runways; ask us whether very late or early flights are affected

Sabiha Gökçen is the airport for the Asian shore, for Kadıköy, Üsküdar and the hotels on that side of the Bosphorus, and above all for Istanbul Park in Tuzla, about 10 kilometres away, where Formula 1 returns from 1 to 3 October 2027.

What private passengers find at Istanbul's terminals

Each airport receives private passengers in its own way. These are the points our clients ask about most, from the lounges and the food to the luggage and the drive.

The Atatürk terminal
The general aviation terminal at Atatürk is a separate building of about 2,300 square metres, built with its own lounges for international and domestic flights and rooms for business meetings. Since DHMİ took it over, the lounges have been renovated and a café and a gift shop opened. Passport, customs and security checks take place inside, usually in 5 to 10 minutes, and the car waits at the door.
FBO lounges at Atatürk
Several handlers have their own buildings. Bilen Air Services, which works with ExecuJet, runs a VIP lounge and crew rooms from a 750 square metre hangar around the clock. MC Aviation's hangar has room for about 20 jets, four meeting rooms, a bar and restaurant and ten hotel rooms.
The Jetex suites at Istanbul Airport
The Jetex iGA terminal is the most lavish of the three. Guests enter a lobby with a reception desk and a patisserie; upstairs, on the mezzanine, are the restaurant and eight suites, each with a lounge, a dining area, its own bathroom and a butler, and three with bedrooms. A spa room, a wine and cigar lounge and a boardroom for ten serve guests who arrive early or wait for a connection.
FBO lounges at Istanbul Airport
Private jet passengers at Istanbul Airport can also be handled by Bilen Air Services with ExecuJet, which runs a VIP lounge, crew rest rooms and hangar space around the clock, as it does at the other two airports.
The terminal at Sabiha Gökçen
The Asian side terminal is smaller: a lounge with light snacks and drinks, computers, fast internet and international television, with the formalities handled in the same building. The Bilen Air Services and ExecuJet FBO adds its own VIP lounge.
Food before and on board
At Atatürk the café serves light meals and the FBO lounges offer drinks and snacks, while the Jetex terminal has a proper restaurant. Catering for the flight is best ordered through the handler about 72 hours ahead, with Turkish and international menus to choose from.
Luggage
The handler unloads the hold at the aircraft and brings the bags through the terminal to the car after customs, and at the Jetex terminal a dedicated baggage team does the same. On departure the bags are screened in the private terminal and loaded for you, so you never queue at a check in desk. Shopping from the Grand Bazaar or Nişantaşı can fill a light jet's hold, so tell us about large purchases before the flight home.
Passport and customs checks
Turkish officers check and stamp passports inside the private terminal, and customs look at the bags there too. The captain also signs an aircraft security search form on arrival and departure, which is handled by the crew and does not delay passengers.
Friends on airline flights
Guests arriving on a scheduled service at Istanbul Airport can use the Jetex terminal for a fee, with a dedicated agent, their own passport control and a chauffeured car to the aircraft, instead of the airport's ordinary CIP service at about 200 euros. It should be booked in advance, ideally a day before.
Leaving Istanbul
Allow about 30 minutes at Atatürk and a little more at the other two airports. The slot matters more than the terminal: a jet that misses its window by more than about 20 minutes needs a new one, so we plan the drive with Istanbul's traffic in mind.
The car and the traffic
Istanbul's roads are among the most congested in Europe. A driver meets you at the terminal door, and in the evening rush a crossing to the Asian side can take twice as long as usual, so we time departures from the hotel with a margin.

How we plan an Istanbul flight

  • The right airport. We choose Atatürk for most city trips, Sabiha Gökçen for the Asian shore and Istanbul Park, and Istanbul Airport when an airline connection is involved.
  • Slot and permit early. We ask the handler to request the slot as soon as the flight is confirmed and check that the operator holds its Turkish landing permit.
  • Parking settled in advance. For a stay of more than a day we confirm the stand or hangar, or plan for the jet to leave and return.
  • No domestic legs on foreign jets. If the trip continues to Bodrum or Antalya, we book that sector with a Turkish operator.
  • Time for the traffic. We add a margin to every drive to the airport, especially on Friday evenings and on the bridges to Asia.
  • The clock. We quote all times in Turkish time, two or three hours ahead of London depending on the season.

Five things to know before booking a flight to Istanbul

These points decide whether a flight to Istanbul runs smoothly, and several of them are unusual in Europe.

Slots at every airport
All three airports require slots, usually confirmed only two or three days before the flight. At Atatürk the jet must fly within about 20 minutes of its slot.
Landing permits for charters
A foreign operator flying passengers for hire needs a Turkish permit, normally requested about five working days ahead, and the aircraft may need registering with the Turkish authority, which can take up to three working days.
No domestic Turkish sectors
Cabotage rules stop a British or European registered jet from carrying passengers between two Turkish airports. An empty leg from Istanbul to Bodrum on such an aircraft cannot be sold.
Where the jet waits in Istanbul
At Sabiha Gökçen a business jet may stay no more than 24 hours. Where the aircraft cannot wait, the operator either charges for flying it away and back or sells those flights as empty legs.
Turkish time all year
Türkiye stays on UTC+3 throughout the year, so the time difference with London is two hours in the British summer and three in winter.

The extra costs of an Istanbul trip

Airport charges in Istanbul are modest beside the cost of the aircraft, and most of them are included in the operator's price. A few are worth knowing in advance.

Band A
for UK Air Passenger Duty on jets of 5.7 tonnes or more, since Türkiye lies less than 2,000 miles from London
10.52 euros
DHMİ passenger and security charges per passenger on each international departure from Atatürk from 15 July 2026
About 150 euros
per passenger for general aviation terminal services at Atatürk, against 750 euros and more at the Jetex terminal for airline passengers
1 per cent
accommodation tax on Turkish hotel bills until the end of 2026, cut from 2 per cent on 1 May 2026

British Air Passenger Duty applies to the flight out of the UK. The bill depends on the aircraft: a jet between 5.7 and 20 tonnes adds 32 GBP for every passenger, and a larger one 142 GBP, up to 31 March 2027. From April 2027 the government replaces both with a single charge of 146.63 GBP a passenger for private jets of 5.7 tonnes and over. Lighter jets pay nothing, nor do departures from Jersey or Guernsey, and Scottish airports move to their own Air Departure Tax, with a private jet supplement, on 1 April 2027.

Parking and hangars are the costs that change most. At Sabiha Gökçen a hangar starts at about 1,500 euros a day, and Istanbul Airport is generally the most expensive of the three, so a stay of several days is often cheaper with the jet flying away and back, or with empty legs in both directions.

From the airports to the Bosphorus, the old city and the business districts

Distances in Istanbul are measured in traffic rather than kilometres. The times below are for a car outside the rush hour; on weekday evenings, in rain and on the bridges to Asia they can double.

Destination From Atatürk From Istanbul Airport From Sabiha Gökçen
Sultanahmet and the old city About 25 to 35 minutes About 50 to 60 minutes About 60 to 75 minutes
Taksim and Beyoğlu About 30 to 40 minutes About 45 to 60 minutes About 60 to 75 minutes
Nişantaşı About 35 to 45 minutes About 45 to 55 minutes About 60 to 70 minutes
Beşiktaş and the Bosphorus palace hotels About 35 to 45 minutes About 45 to 60 minutes About 55 to 70 minutes
Levent and Maslak About 35 to 45 minutes About 35 to 45 minutes About 50 to 65 minutes
Kadıköy and Üsküdar About 45 to 60 minutes About 60 to 75 minutes About 35 to 45 minutes
Istanbul Park, Tuzla About 60 to 75 minutes About 75 to 90 minutes About 15 to 20 minutes

The waterfront hotels along the European shore of the Bosphorus, among them the Çırağan Palace Kempinski, the Four Seasons at the Bosphorus and The Peninsula in Karaköy, can also be reached by private boat, which avoids the coast road on busy evenings. Four road crossings link the two continents: the two older bridges, the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge further north and the Eurasia Tunnel under the Bosphorus, so the route to Asia is chosen by the traffic of the hour.

Other airfields around Istanbul

Almost every private flight uses one of the three main airports. A few other fields appear in plans now and then.

Tekirdağ Çorlu, LTBU. A 3,000 metre runway about 75 kilometres west of Atatürk, with little airline traffic. It can serve as an alternate or suit a trip to Thrace, but it is a long drive from the city.
Hezarfen, LTBW. A small airfield on Lake Büyükçekmece with a runway of 681 metres, used for training, light aircraft and helicopters rather than jets.
Samandıra. An army air base on the Asian side, not open to private charters.
Onward to the coast. Bodrum, Dalaman and Antalya are about an hour or a little more by jet from Istanbul, but a domestic sector has to be flown by a Turkish operator rather than the foreign jet that brought you.

Popular routes between the UK and Istanbul, and which way they run empty

Every price in this table is for the whole jet on a positioning trip that its operator must fly in any case; none is a seat price. The times are wheels up to wheels down, without the drive at either end. Because Istanbul is around four hours from Britain, the list runs from the Phenom 300 to the Challenger 604 rather than the smallest jets, and a longer route in a lighter aircraft can cost less. For fixed dates, the charter list near the top gives the full fare for the same jets.

Route In the air Empty leg from Season Which way it usually runs empty
London to Istanbul 3h 50m 13,700 GBP All year Out to collect a board after a two day meeting
Istanbul to Farnborough 3h 50m 11,900 GBP All year Home after flying executives to Levent
Biggin Hill to Istanbul 3h 45m 7,700 GBP All year Out on a Sunday to fetch a family after a city weekend

Manchester to Istanbul 4h 05m 14,400 GBP All year Out to pick up a wedding party from a Bosphorus palace
Istanbul to Birmingham 4h 00m 8,200 GBP All year Home after taking patients to a clinic
Leeds to Istanbul 4h 05m 11,800 GBP Spring and autumn Out to fetch a group after a trade fair
Istanbul to Newcastle 4h 10m 12,900 GBP Summer Back after a drop before Bodrum
Edinburgh to Istanbul 4h 20m 15,500 GBP All year Out on the eve of a Monday collection
Istanbul to Glasgow 4h 25m 15,500 GBP Autumn Home after an October conference drop
Aberdeen to Istanbul 4h 20m 13,400 GBP All year Out to collect energy executives
Istanbul to Belfast 4h 30m 20,100 GBP All year Returning after a large family drop
Dublin to Istanbul 4h 25m 15,800 GBP All year Out to fetch a party after a long weekend
Istanbul to Cardiff 4h 05m 11,800 GBP All year Back after a football weekend drop
Bristol to Istanbul 4h 00m 8,000 GBP All year Out to collect a couple after a shopping trip
Istanbul to Liverpool 4h 10m 8,500 GBP All year Home after a Friday drop

Istanbul sectors come in two rhythms: business trips that fly out on Monday or Tuesday and home on Thursday or Friday, and leisure weekends that bring aircraft home empty on Friday and out empty on Sunday. In summer the flow towards the Turkish coast adds sectors on Saturdays.

Border and customs rules for Türkiye

Türkiye is outside the EU and Schengen and sets its own entry rules. British travellers ask most often about the following.

  • Your passport. It needs at least 150 days of validity from the day you arrive and one blank page.
  • No visa for 90 days. British visitors may stay up to 90 days in any 180 day period for business or tourism, and those days do not count towards the Schengen limit.
  • No EES. The EU entry system does not apply in Türkiye; the checks at the general aviation terminal are the usual Turkish passport and customs controls.
  • Duty free into Türkiye. Adults may bring either a litre of spirits or two litres of wine or other drinks up to 22 per cent, five bottles of perfume of up to 120 millilitres, and gifts worth up to 430 euros. Tobacco limits depend on where it was bought, and more is allowed from the arrival duty free shop.
  • Cash. Turkish lira worth more than 5,000 US dollars may not be taken out of the country, and other currency above that value has to be declared on departure.
  • Antiques and carpets. Exporting antiquities is a serious offence in Türkiye. Keep the receipt for any carpet or old object, and for anything that could count as an antique ask the dealer for the museum export certificate.
  • Medicines. Carry personal medicines in their original packaging with the prescription, as some common drugs are controlled in Türkiye.
  • Coming home. After a private flight, each adult arriving in Britain may carry 270 GBP of goods without duty. The drinks and tobacco limits come on top: beer up to 42 litres, wine up to 18, spirits up to four and cigarettes up to 200, and from 1 October 2026 champagne will count as wine and cider as beer.
  • Money. Hotels, restaurants and shops take cards everywhere in central Istanbul, but small cafés, taxis and bazaar stalls often prefer lira in cash.

Three situations, three answers

Two days of meetings
Fly out on Monday morning, land at Atatürk after lunch Turkish time and reach Levent or Maslak within the hour. The jet usually cannot wait two days at the busiest times, so it leaves empty and comes back empty, and either leg can be bought as an empty leg.
A weekend on the Bosphorus
Land on Friday afternoon, check in at a waterfront hotel and spend Saturday between the old city and the bazaars. Sunday evening flights home are common, so jets often fly out empty on Sunday to collect their passengers, and that leg suits anyone travelling to Istanbul the same day.

Spend two nights in Istanbul, then continue to Bodrum on a Turkish operator's jet and fly home from the coast. Splitting the trip this way respects the cabotage rules and gives two chances of an empty leg.

Bringing a dog or cat to Istanbul

Türkiye asks more of pet owners than most European countries. A dog or cat travelling from Britain needs a microchip, a rabies vaccination, a rabies blood test showing at least 0.5 IU/ml taken at least 30 days after the vaccination, and an export health certificate signed by an official vet shortly before departure. Dogs and cats ride in the cabin with their owners on a private jet, and Turkish officials inspect the documents on landing.

Coming home is harder still, because Britain treats Türkiye as a country outside its pet travel lists. A dog or cat needs a successful blood test and must then wait three months from the day of the sample before entering Britain. The wait is waived if the sample was taken before the pet left and Britain's conditions for that case are met, which your vet can confirm. Dogs also need a tapeworm treatment 24 to 120 hours before landing. The flight home must use an approved carrier and route, so we check the whole plan with your vet and the operator before booking.

Istanbul by private jet: common questions

Atatürk, Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gökçen: where should we land?
Atatürk Airport, ISL, for most trips: it takes only private and state flights, clears passengers in minutes and is about half an hour from Taksim. Sabiha Gökçen suits the Asian shore, and Istanbul Airport suits connections with airline flights.
Is Atatürk Airport still open?
Yes, for business aviation, government flights and the air force. Airline flights moved to Istanbul Airport in April 2019 and cargo in February 2022, and one runway of about 2,600 metres remains in use.
How long does it take to fly from the UK to Istanbul?
Allow just under four hours from southern England and the Channel Islands, with Biggin Hill the quickest at 3h 45m. Flights from Bristol, Wales, the Midlands and northern England take four hours to 4h 10m, and those from Scottish airports, Belfast and Dublin 4h 20m to 4h 30m.
Do private flights to Istanbul need slots?
Yes, at Atatürk, Istanbul Airport and Sabiha Gökçen alike. The handler requests the slot, it is rarely confirmed more than a few days out, and at Atatürk the tolerance is about 20 minutes.
What is the Jetex terminal at Istanbul Airport?
A private terminal of 5,000 square metres opened by Jetex and iGA on 5 May 2026, with eight suites, a restaurant, a spa and its own border checks. Private jet passengers use it through their handler, and airline passengers can book it.
Can a British jet fly us on from Istanbul to Bodrum?
No. Cabotage rules keep flights between two Turkish airports for Turkish operators, so we arrange the hop to Bodrum with one of them.
What does an empty leg to Istanbul cost?
Our table starts at about 7,700 GBP for a Phenom 300 from Biggin Hill to Istanbul and about 7,800 GBP for a Citation CJ4 from Jersey to Istanbul, each for the whole aircraft. Chartered outright on your own dates, the same aircraft range from roughly 18,300 GBP to 47,800 GBP.
Do British visitors need a visa for Türkiye?
No. British passport holders may stay up to 90 days in any 180 without a visa, and the passport must be valid for at least 150 days from arrival.
Which taxes and charges apply?
Air Passenger Duty on the flight out of Britain, from 32 GBP a head on jets of 5.7 to 20 tonnes until 31 March 2027 and 146.63 GBP afterwards, and Turkish airport passenger and security charges of 10.52 euros per departing passenger at Atatürk, normally included in the operator's price.
Which airport for the Turkish Grand Prix?
Sabiha Gökçen, about 10 kilometres from Istanbul Park in Tuzla. Slots and parking will be in heavy demand from 1 to 3 October 2027, so book early.
And if nothing is released for my dates?
Send us your travel window, the number of passengers and any flexibility on the airport or the day. With business traffic every week and a steady flow of jets between Istanbul, Europe and the Gulf, a matching sector often appears within days.

Call +44 7857 574938 , message the same number on WhatsApp , or write to flight@empty-leg.co.uk . Tell us which part of Istanbul you are heading for, the dates, the number of travellers, the luggage and any pet. Our reply lists the sectors that fit beside the full charter fares, and explains which of the three airports we recommend, how the slot and the parking will work and who meets you at the terminal.
